A Letter From Our Congress Of Christian Education

July 11, 2024

Hello New Era Family!

Our Congress of Christian Education will be taking place next Monday – Wednesday

July 22 – 24, 2024 starting at 8:30 each morning at our Convention Center located at 1229 Green Valley Rd in Griffin, GA. and we can’t wait to see YOU!

We want all New Era Churches to bring their Youth… There are some great Christian Education classes taking place each day and lots of fun and exciting activities planned for them in order to
make this a Congress one that will be remembered for some time.

The Congress Staff wants EVERY child in New Era to have the opportunity to “Come Back to Congress”, so we have developed an incentive just for the children of New Era.

If your Church will be bringing 10 or more Youth, please be sure to contact Sis. Selethia Smith at 770) 369-2203 before July 20th to receive information for the SPECIAL PRICING incentive for our
Youth to be able to enjoy three days of learning, friendships and food, fun activities and leadership development. This pricing does not apply to Adults or Chaperones or if your Church has less than10 Youth attending. The delegate amount in these cases is $75.00 per person for the three days.

We are in great anticipation of having all of our New Era Family join us in Griffin…there are classes for Adults, Young Adults, Teens, Youth and added this year is a class for Pastors and Ministers. Adults are also welcome to join in on some of the outdoor activities if you desire to do so. Come Back to Congress and make some memories!

My name is Rev. Stanley A. Smith.

I am the Pastor of Greater Fellowship Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga. I joined New Era Missionary Baptist State Convention of Georgia to be a part of a Baptist fellowship that is committed  to obey the call of Christ Jesus to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”;  to participate in the teaching, preaching, and reaching of people for  God’s kingdom building through the good works of Social Justice and peace through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Equipping and empowering churches

Greetings New Era In Jesus Name,

I am Rosa L. Williams, Pastor of Everfaithful Missionary Baptist Church, in Augusta, Georgia. As your new President, my vision for our Convention is to bring to fruition seeds that have been planted, into full bloom and to heighten the unity of our Churches. Our theme is:

“Develop What We Now Possess And Bloom Where God Has Planted Us”.
Numbers 13: 17a; Numbers 13: 30

My hope is for our convention to go forward in the strength of God’s Spirit, His grace and to be more like Jesus, so that all mankind will want to accept Him as their personal savior. God is with us and we are well able, New Era.

God’s Servant, In His Hand
